Kore and Other Vendors Share Their Thoughts in DBTA's Special Annual Report

With the shift to remote work, companies have had to implement adjustments to their operational strategies, including increasing security, tapping into the cloud, and more. Last year was a time of fast-moving transformation. In 2021, the pace of change shows no sign of slowing down.

As we begin a new year, DBTA presents the annual MultiValue Special Report and asks MV executives to address several questions: How is the MV space adapting to the accelerated innovation? What are customers looking for in their MV solutions now? And how will working remotely alter the cloud, AI, security, and privacy landscape? Executives from leading MV companies weigh in.

Kore's Keith Lambert (vice-president, marketing and business development) participated in the report and shared his thoughts below.

We have seen an increase in projects related to near-real-time enterprise data warehousing and real-time RESTful integration for best-in-class applications."

Kore Technologies and the trend-setting Kourier Integrator data management platform are uniquely positioned to help clients and partners adapt to the rapidly changing business conditions that started in 2020 and likely will continue into 2021.

Our flagship product, Kourier, has enabled us to help our clients modernize and extend the value and capabilities of their MultiValue enterprise applications. This allows our clients to respond quickly to changing business conditions and tackle key projects that provide them with the applications and information they need to remain competitive, streamline operations, and become more efficient.

At Kore, we have seen an increase in projects related to near-real-time enterprise data warehousing and real-time RESTful integration for best-in-class applications such as ecommerce, warehouse management, service management, transportation logistics, and customer relationship management.

Implementing these new projects has led to increased adoption of the cloud. Some clients are going with the big players like Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services, and some are creating their own environments. Yes, there are still some concerns regarding data privacy and security in the cloud. However, reduced infrastructure and administration costs, flexible data storage and disaster recovery options, plus easy system access for remote-work employees are a few reasons driving companies to use cloud solutions.

It can be difficult to keep pace with a technology like the cloud, which is constantly evolving and presents unique challenges. That is why using a flexible integration platform like Kourier Integrator can make it easier to be agile and adapt to new requirements quickly. Kourier Integrator works with applications running on-premises, hosted, or in the cloud, and the latest release of Kourier supports new cloud data storage options such as Amazon S3 storage and Microsoft Azure Blob Storage.
